How WordCraft Online handles your documents, account data and cookies.

WordCraft Online ("we", "us") is an independent service operated from Germany. This policy explains what data we process when you use https://wordcraftonline.app. Contact: support@wordcraftonline.app.
The editor runs entirely in your web browser. When you open a document, it is read from your device into the browser tab; when you save or export, your browser downloads the new file to your device.
Documents you edit are not uploaded to our servers. We do not see, store or analyse their content.
The editor may store your interface preferences (for example language or zoom) in your browser's local storage on your device.

We use this data only to provide your account. You can delete your account at any time from your account settings.
Sign-up and login forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that requests come from people, not bots. Turnstile processes technical data such as your IP address and browser characteristics.

Some providers are located in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
Necessary cookies keep you signed in and remember your language. Optional analytics cookies are used only when you allow them. We do not use advertising cookies.
With your permission, Google Analytics 4 measures visits to public pages, and Microsoft Clarity records interactions with public marketing pages using strict text masking. Clarity does not run in the editor, sign-in pages, account settings or administration pages. We do not send document text, file names, account details, URL query parameters or fragments to Google Analytics.
With analytics consent, the editor also reports anonymous processing results for DOCX imports, DOCX saves and PDF exports to a Cloudflare Worker and D1 database. Reports contain only a random ID for one operation, a fixed action and result, and a timestamp. They contain no document text, file names, error messages, email addresses or user identifiers. The ID is not reused to identify a person or session. Like other hosting providers, Cloudflare receives technical connection information when handling requests; our metrics database does not store IP addresses.
Reports are held briefly in browser memory and sent in small batches, normally at most once a minute, with a best-effort send when the page is hidden or closed. Offline use, blockers, crashes, declining analytics and our free collection limits may cause missing reports. A successful save or export means the file was generated and handed to the browser for download, not that it finished saving to disk. These statistics help us detect processing failures without receiving your documents.
You can allow or decline these optional tools and change your choice at any time using Analytics preferences in the footer. Rejecting analytics does not affect editing or your account.
Vercel Speed Insights samples performance on public pages without analytics cookies. It receives timings and the page path after query parameters and fragments are removed.
AI features are not available yet. If we add them, they will be optional, the text you choose to send will be processed by an AI provider, and this policy will be updated before launch.
Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restrict or object to processing, and request data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. Email support@wordcraftonline.app to exercise these rights.
